Harbour and Canal

Bude harbour is home to a small number of fishing boats and pleasure craft.

The breakwater protects the boats from the atlantic swell and forms the edge of the harbour.

The canal was constructed in victorian times to transport sand from the beaches for the building trade and other uses.
